Apple has released iOS 26.4, bringing a set of new features including an AI powered playlist tool in Apple Music. The update is now rolling out to users with improvements across music, system performance and accessibility.

One of the biggest additions is Playlist Playground, a feature that lets users create playlists using text prompts. Users can describe a mood or activity, and Apple Music will generate a playlist with a title and track list. Apple has also added a new concert discovery feature that shows nearby events based on listening habits.

The update includes several smaller changes. Apple Music now supports offline song recognition, allowing users to identify music without internet and get results later. There are also visual updates like full screen album backgrounds and a new ambient music widget.

iOS 26.4 also expands Family Sharing. Each adult member can now add their own payment method instead of relying on one shared account. Apple has also added new emoji and improved keyboard accuracy for faster typing.

The update brings fixes and accessibility improvements as well.

Apple says it has improved motion and brightness settings to reduce visual effects and make the system easier to use. Alongside iOS, Apple has also released macOS 26.4 with updates like battery charge limits and Safari changes.
